Nebraska Climbing Areas

Nebraska Climbing Areas

Nebraska is fortunate enough to have a handful of very small clumps of rock; it is unfortunate to not have anything else.  Nebraska has some of the least climbing of any other state.  What is listed here is some small amount of information to locate and climb on some of these small but interesting features.  I would only visit the rock in Nebraska if you live near it or happen to find yourself near it and want to check some limited but interesting rock out.
Nebraska is a large state with very little climbing but what you can find are some interesting features from a geology standpoint.  There area several interesting buttes and rock features hidden throughout the state.  Some are private and others are on public lands.  If you are passing through Nebraska and want to stretch your legs, it’s worth checking some of these out.
